Community UPdate: February 2020
The “what” is easy. Craftwork is a specialty coffee shop and vibrant membership-based workspace with locations in Fort Worth (Foundry, Camp Bowie, Magnolia) and Austin (Domain). We serve craft coffee and are a connected coworking space. But you knew that already. Our “why” is our heart – we desire to create spaces and places where our members and customers experience connection and community.

CW: What is your work and what do you love most about it?
Becky: Becky Escher Design is basically a one-woman agency, but primarily I’m a graphic designer and social media content manager. What I love most is helping small businesses and nonprofits with big dreams actualize their visions through branding, event collateral, marketing campaigns, and digital advertising. Every now and then, I get a request to design wedding invitations and I absolutely love working with brides!
CW: If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
Becky: Cheesy dance-moves…I’m a master on the dancefloor.
CW: Last question, what is the perfect day in Fort Worth?
Becky: I’d say a perfect day in Fort Worth is jam-packed. Grab morning coffee at Craftwork or a new spot in town, head to The Modern, Pulido’s for lunch or dinner, catch a movie, and maybe grab a drink at The Usual or Thompson’s. If it’s summer, head to the pool!
Name: Sara Warren
Home Base: Craftwork Magnolia
CW: What is something that few members know about you?
I am a professional ballet dancer. I have a twin who looks nothing like me.
CW: Why do you work at Craftwork?
I work at Craftwork not only for the coffee but for the community. Our regulars and customers are awesome! Also I have never met a more supportive team than the one I have! I love them and they are truly the best!
CW: What is the perfect day in Fort Worth?
My perfect day in Fort Worth would start by watching the sunrise at the Trinity, taking a long walk down the river and probably a lounge in my hammock, with a good book. I’d then hit up one (or all 😉) of the Craftwork locations for a cappuccino. Lunch at Salsa Limón most likely followed by a second lunch at Le’s Wok. Because let’s be honest, I can’t choose between both. I’d then finish off the day with a drink at Proper and a bag of chips on my way home!
